Dr. Hey knows our two dogs and cat very well. He keeps excellent records and notes. His staff is informed, friendly and efficient. My dogs love all the pets and attention they receive from the staff. I have taken my dogs to Dr. Hey for 4 + years. They have had minor surgeries, IV fluids, x-rays, regular check-ups, etc. All the care given has been top quality, and my pets are healthy thanks to Deerfield Animal Hospital.

Your pet is like a family member and this is the place to come to for all their needs. I've brought my Chihuahua for her regular shots as well as walked in for emergency care. She's a feisty little thing, but they cater to your pet's personality. While in the waiting room they cleared the room of other animals just to walk in a nervous dog as well as cuddle with a puppy waiting for an appointment. I love the vibe this place sends out as well as the professional care the veterinarian provides. They definitely treat your pet like their own. Last week I took in my dog who was hurting from her back legs and I don't know why. The doctor did a thorough examination and came to the conclusion she may have injured her back. She was given X-rays and medication. She is recovering well and her pain has eased. I am so relieved that she was seen promptly and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg like another animal hospital I've been to in the past. I highly recommend this animal hospital for all your pets' needs.

Great staff - they are very nice and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. They kept me informed of all procedures and even recommended things without being pushy. They were also in constant communication as they said they would be. They welcomed my dog like she was their own and I loved seeing how sweet they were to her. I will definitely be back! Thanks Deerfield staff!

My dog was a patient at Deerfield for a year or so and was treated for his CHF here. When his condition worsened and it was time for him to go, we brought him to Deerfield to be put to sleep. It was a heartbreaking experience but the staff and Veterinarian made it as bearable as it could be. They were very compassionate, caring, gentle and explained everything that was happening along the way.

My husband took Tatum, our rescue yorkie mix, to Dr. Hey this week after our experiences with another veterinary office. Dr. Hey was fabulous, thorough and showed genuine care and concern for Tatum. Did a full exam and talked to me about his findings. No pressure. Focused on the animal rather than charging us for services. Erin was wonderful - Tatum clearly did not like the shot! Dr. Hey even called the next day to follow up. Will definitely stay with this practice!

We love Deerfield and Dr.Hey. Front Desk staff is wonderful especially Lisa and Chelsea. Amanda and Nancy the (dental) techs are wonderful and caring as well. We've actually seen the whole staff since we've been going here so many years and ALL of them are awesome! Can't say enough good things about this place! They are awesome.
